Tercero Wines
The tercero wines tasting room is located in beautiful Los Olivos, CA, in the Santa Ynez Valley, 30 miles north of Santa Barbara. Our huge tasting room – actually, it’s one of the smallest in town – is located a block off the main street in the city, across the street from the Corner House Coffee and catty corner from the Wilding Art Museum.
The room itself features plenty of stainless steel and a really cool bar made using large wooden dowels. There is scientitic glassware on stainless shelves that hightlight the ‘alchmey’ aspect of winemaking. One noticable thing missing from the tasting room – tasting notes . . . because do you really care what the winemaker tastes in the wine?!?!? To me, it’s important to let everyone develop their own thoughts on each wine and not ‘lead’ them.
In fact, we leave spaces for you to write your own notes!!!!
We change up the wines offered regulary, and usually pour 5 or 6 per visit. There is a nomimal tasting fee that is waived either when you join the wine club or if you purchase at least a few bottles during your visit.

will!
