Located just outside Los Olivos on the iconic Foxen Canyon Wine Trail, Foxen Vineyard & Winery is a destination rich in history and charm. Founded in 1985 by Bill Wathen and Dick Doré, affectionately known as “The Foxen Boys,” the winery sits on the historic Rancho Tinaquaic, a 2,000-acre California ranch that’s been in the Doré family for generations.

Your visit to Foxen wouldn’t be complete without experiencing both of its unique tasting locations. Start at the original site, lovingly referred to as "The Shack," to explore the rustic and historic roots of Foxen. Then, head up the road to the modern, solar-powered winery and tasting room to enjoy a more contemporary take on the Foxen story. Together, these locations showcase the rich heritage, innovation, and passion that make Foxen truly one of a kind.

Foxen Vineyard & Winery is open daily from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. If you don’t know Foxen, you don’t know Dick… or Bill!
